  1. Laura Said,

    Hi Andrea,

I found your site while doing a search for Charlotte Mason in Florida… and I see that you are also in Miami! I actually just started a Meetup group for Miami homeschoolers, if you are interested. We would love for you and your son to join us!

Also, I’m starting a homeschooling zine and would LOVE to include an article about your experience homeschooling as a single Mom. I could interview you via email, or you could write an article yourself.

You can read more about the zine here:

Hope to hear from you :)

    Laura

  2. Karen Said,

Hi there. I am trying to register for the forum, but I keep getting this error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/andie75/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sabre/sabre.php on line 236

    Hope you can help.

    Cheers,
    Karen

  3. Soni Said,

I too am trying to register and getting the fatal error: Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/andie75/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sabre/classes/sabre_class.php on line 234

  4. LaToya Said,

    Hi Andrea!

I found you through WPLH and I too am a single parent. My son is 4 so I’m just beginning to do the preliminary research to get started. I just wanted to add that I think your site is awesome and quite impressive! Thank you so much for creating it and sharing your journey. I’m sure I will be visiting it often. :)

  5. Jacqui Said,

Hi! I am interested in finding out more about Single parent homeschooling. I run a faith-based single parents support group and would like to know how to introduce such a concept.

  6. Mike Donnelly Said,

Laura – I am doing research for an article on Single parent Homeschoolers. Will you email me I’d like to correspond with you about a survey I am about to send out to our members. Thank you!

    Blessings,
    Mike

  7. Renee Said,

    Hi Andrea

I found your web address in an old Focus on the Family magazine. I was blown away to discover that I am not alone! Most people seem to think that my commitment to homeschooling my son is irrational… we have both weathered a lot of opposition. I am so very glad that I discovered your site and I look forward to “clicking around” a LOT :-)

    Take care

  8. Montesecrets Said,

    Hi there!

I just wanted to say that I came across your blog by accident and I have to say that you really inspired me. I am a single mom who is currently working in a not so ideal environment. I too wish to be able to homeschool my child, while at the same time make enough income to live comfortably. I also live in Miami too! (I just moved!) Thanks so much and keep all the valuable information coming!

  9. Phyllis Said,

    Hi Andrea,

We corresponded via email, oh, at least a couple of years ago. You had a site via homeschoolblogger.com called “Quail Haven Academy,” I believe. I’ve seen the name “Andrea” on a couple of other lists and wondered if it was you, because the writing style is the same. I, too, am a single parent homeschooler living in a big city.

I love your website and sometime next year when you are taking on new clients, I’d like you to help with mine–if I haven’t figured things out by then.

Your website is fabulous! God bless you, your son, and your homeschool.

  10. Henry Said,

Andrea, I recently found your blog and I’d like to ask you to consider submitting something
about homeschooling to the Carnival of Homeschooling. If you are
    interested, here are the instructions:

    http://whyhomeschool.blogspot.com/2005/12/where-to-send-your-submission-for-next.html

If this week is bad for you, you are always welcome to
    submit to future carnivals.

If a “blog carnival” is a new term, this might help:

    http://whyhomeschool.blogspot.com/2005/12/what-is-blog-carnival.html

Here is the archive of previous carnivals:

    http://whyhomeschool.blogspot.com/2006/01/carnival-of-homeschooling-archive.html

Participating in a blog carnvial is a good way to
get more exposure for your blog.

    Thank you for your consideration.
